Obituary

Michele Marie DeHoff (Ehatt), 65, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, October 17th, from a courageous battle with Liver and Colon cancer.

Born May 12, 1956, to George Joseph Ehatt, IV and Beatrice Ehatt (Hornsby) in Baltimore, Maryland. She married Mark Scott DeHoff on July 18, 1975. They spent forty-six wonderful years in matrimony and raised five children together.

Michele loved Jesus and often shared her testimony through tears of joy. She adored her family and devoted many years to homeschooling her five children. She was well known for both sewing intricate and detailed doll clothes with her own business as well as her collection of specialty dolls. She loved old movies, musicals, books, and the Bible. She had a passion for gardening, love of nature, flowers, and the ocean. She truly loved being a Grandmother and was always planning the next outing and playing games with her many grandchildren. Her personality and laughter were vibrant, colorful, and full of life. Her ear to listen and empathy for others left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Michele is survived by her loving husband, Mark Scott DeHoff, her five children, and nine grandchildren. Her son Zachary (Cristi), grandchildren Maura and Tristin, daughter Sarah and grandchildren Jackson, Brennan, Quintin, Theophilus, Evangeline, son Jesse (Rachel), grandchildren Asher and Violet, son Joshua (Rebecca), son Seth (Carlie), her sister Cathleen (Thomas), and many other family members and friends who will love and remember her legacy always.
