Beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 3rd, 2021, at age 75, in St. Louis MO with loved ones by her side. Born on March 24, 1946, in Hudson, Michigan, to John and Viola (Crane) Musson, she later graduated as salutatorian of her class at Hudson High School (1964). Diane attended Michigan State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts- Elementary Education (1968) and Master's Degree in Social Work (1970).
Diane married Scott Jackson on August 26th, 1967, and they settled in Flint, Michigan, where she began her lifelong career in social work. She dedicated herself to the service of others by working in schools, providing education and counseling services, working with foster families, and serving the Villages of Indiana for over 18 years, retiring in 2008.
Diane and Scott were Zionsville residents for over 40 years and loved their community. Diane enjoyed volunteering at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center, and was an active member of the Zionsville Women's Club. Diane was passionate about genealogy research and was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a warrior for Pink Ribbon Girls St. Louis, selflessly helping others as she courageously battled cancer herself. She loved playing bridge with her friends, golfing and spending time with her grandchildren. Diane was a gifted artist, author, and photographer.
Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Scott, her parents John and Viola Musson and her sister Linda Musson.
